The Trezor hardware wallet is one of the most secure forms of cryptocurrency wallet on the market today. Why? Because your private keys are stored on the device itself versus on your computer and you have complete control of when you connect it to the internet and unlock your wallet (using your pin). Having your private keys offline greatly increases the security of storing your crypto assets. In addition to being super secure, the device supports multiple tokens including the most popular cryptocurrency options, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP and more.
When you first receive your device, you may be stuck wondering how on earth you set up and open your hardware wallet to find your address and send and receive crypto. Below, we cover three easy options; two apps and one browser extension.
Please make sure you carefully read any setup instructions included in the box of your Trezor device and always update to the latest firmware when prompted. These updates usually contain important security features and updates to ensure your digital assets are kept as safe as possible.
