How to find wallet address on Trezor One and Trezor T and buy crypto from BitPrime

Hey everyone, so if you’ve gone through how to set up Trezor One or Trezor T, it’s time to show you how to find your wallet address and make your first purchase through BitPrime.

This is incredibly easy, and you should be done and dusted in no time.

Quick reminder: When you pay using POLi, your order is usually processed within the hour – the journey to your wallet itself may take longer due to network transaction times. We can provide you with a TX ID should you wish to track it from your end. If you pay using direct bank transfer, be aware that while the price is locked in at the time of purchase, we need to wait for those funds to clear in our account before sending. As soon as we receive your payment, we send your order.

Nitty-gritty out of the way, let’s buy some crypto!

How to Find Your Wallet Address on Trezor One:

Connect your Trezor One to your computer using a micro USB cable and head to trezor.io/start. If you have a Trezor T, please scroll down to the next section in this article for your instructions.

Choose your device and continue.

You’ll see the above again. Just continue through.

‘No transactions yet’? That’s what we’re here to do! Click ‘Receive’, and you will see the following.

From here you want to click the green ‘Show full address’ icon.

You’ll see it’s now asking you to confirm the address on your Trezor.

Go ahead and click ‘Continue’ on the device.

Once you do that, head back to your desktop and copy the wallet address as shown below. I suggest highlighting it and then hitting CTRL + C or Command + C. Often with third party devices connected, the mouse copy/paste functions won’t work.

How to Find Your Wallet Address on Trezor T:

Connect your Trezor Model T using a USB-C cable directly into your computer and head to trezor.io/start.

Choose your device and continue.

You’ll see the above again. Just continue through.

‘No transactions yet’? That’s what we’re here to do! Click ‘Receive’, and you will see the following.

From here you want to click the green ‘Show full address’ icon.

You’ll see it’s now asking you to confirm the address on your Trezor T.

Go ahead and click the green tick on the device.

Now, head back to your desktop and copy the wallet address as shown below. I suggest highlighting it and then hitting either CTRL + C or Command + C on a Mac.

Now You Have Your Wallet Address, Here’s How to Buy from BitPrime

With that wallet address copied and ready to paste, let’s head on over to the BitPrime site (which you’re probably already in).

If you’re not already logged in, you can do this here.

You’ll then see your main dashboard.

You’ll notice I copied my Bitcoin wallet address in the steps earlier as that’s what I’m looking to buy today.

From this page, head to the top banner. Hover over ‘Buy/Sell’ and then click ‘All Coins’.

Once you get there, you’ll be greeted with the next screen. Type “BTC” in the search box to jump straight to it.

As you can see below, you have two main options when it comes to how you would like to purchase.

  • Enter the amount of Bitcoin you’re after, or;
  • Enter the NZD amount you wish to spend

This is really handy if you just want to come on over once a week and throw another $100 into the pot – this is a HODL strategy that has made a lot of people some serious money in the longer term.

Go ahead and choose the amount you want to buy and that Trezor address you copied earlier.

I want to buy $100 of Bitcoin.

Once you have decided on your amount and entered your wallet address, you’re going to be prompted to confirm it again.

If you’re confident and ready to go, hit ‘Confirm’.

An excellent way to double-check you’ve entered it correctly is to check the first and last four characters of the address. If these match, you’re on the right path.

At this point, you’ll be able to add other coins to your cart, view your cart or carry on to pay.

You’ll first advise which bank you are paying from. If your bank isn’t in the drop-down, just choose ‘Other’ as I have.

You then review your order, which shows the NZD cost and your selected coins.

Next, choose a payment method.

Once you click ‘Place order’, you’ll see the following pop-up. Please pay attention to this one as your order may be cancelled and your account suspended, should you ignore the warning.

Once you’ve accepted that, and you’re happy to go ahead, the next steps are easy.

Once you receive the SMS code, enter it into the box above, click ‘Place Order’, and you’re on your way!

The next screen you see is an overview of your order so far.

My example order covers the terms of payment via direct bank transfer.

Please pay particular attention to the payment reference required.

To pay by bank transfer, you now go to your internet banking website or app (or your bank branch if you prefer) and make the payment as required.

Once you have paid, click ‘Yes, I have paid’.

You’ll receive an email shortly after (ensure we’re not in your spam folder) which will outline everything for you.

Coins Bought!

And with that, we are done. Once your coins are sent, you’ll receive an email confirming the order is complete. It shouldn’t be long until you see the funds arrive in your wallet.
