In 1993, Matt Blaze registered the domain name As you can imagine, this domain generated a lot of interest in the past few years. Blaze repeatedly said the domain wasn’t for sale. However, this month Blaze sold his precious domain to Monaco!

Kris Marszalek, Monaco co-founder, announced the purchase officially on the 6th July. The rebrand is designed to reflect the companies goal of accelerating “the world’s transition to cryptocurrency”.

The range of consumer cryptocurrency products previously known as Monaco has rebranded to MCO in alignment with their token name. These products include MCO Visa Card, MCO Wallet App, and MCO Token.

Furthermore, released the new MCO Whitepaper 2.0 which details the platforms current and upcoming range of financial services.


MCO Overview

The MCO platform aims to solve the blockchain industries “access and usability challenges” by providing financial services to improve their customers’ lives. One current product is the MCO Visa Card. This card allows its holders to spend cryptocurrency on regular purchases.

In development is an investment product, and perhaps more interestingly, a credit product. This credit product “Crypto Credit” is designed to provide customers with credit in return for depositing a cryptocurrency collateral.
